# Do birds get cramps

I was working out the other day and was unfortunate enough to get an awful cramp in my leg. It made me think. If a bird were to experience this handicap during flight, it could be very fatal. Can, and does, this occur?

I saw a robin bend over and heave out a bug once. Does that count?
