So it seems that I need to take a few more chances with drying our clothes. I think I’ll start with mine, and move on to my wife’s afterwards 
On a related note, one thing that occurred to me the other day is that I travel and stay in hotels quite often, and I frequently get my clothes washed in the hotel laundry. Since most of the time the clothes are returned washed, dried, and pressed the same day, I can only conclude they are using a dryer. And no real shrinkage so far…
