Based on the sample of women I was intimate with back when I was single, some women enjoy it a great deal, others not very much at all, and some are somewhere in between. [As Cecil notes](http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/2549/can-some-people-have-orgasms-without-genital-stimulation), some women experience orgasms from giving head (see second bullet point); I’d say they enjoy it quite a bit. ---

With some men I enjoyed it more than with others. With my ex-husband, my favorite thing was 69, with him on top. I loved it, and wanted it all the time. No matter what problems we had, sex wasn’t sure wasn’t one of them. 😉 ---

One thing women and men have in common is we like to feel successful as lovers. If the man is good about showing his pleasure at the way she is doing it she is more likley to be happy about doing it. I have found some women will look up at me with these devious look in there eyes like " I am controlling you dumbshit" I am more than happy to play along. ---

I can’t speak for women, but I’m a bisexual man and I enjoy giving them. It’s not only because of the textures and playfulness involved. I happen to enjoy it because as a male I know what feels good. I internalize what I’m doing to someone else (imagining how it would feel to be done to me) and it adds to my enjoyment of the act. If I were a woman, I wouldn’t be able to understand why the things that work work and why the things that don’t don’t. But I have male anatomy and can say “I know exactly how you’re feeling right now”, and that makes it fun. For me, personally, I give to the other person what I would want done to myself. Even if I don’t receive the same treatment, and I rarely do, it makes me feel good that someone I want happy is living my own fantasy. I don’t know if other bisexual or gay men feel similarly. Some people enjoy fulfilling social expectations. Some couldn’t care less about them. When it don’t about a particular female’s position on the matter I suggest you ask her directly. ---
