Another vote for putting the cord down your shirt. I’ve been doing this for years while weight lifting and I’ve never had a problem with the cord.
Tried that. All the headphones I’ve used have had a whole lotta cord, and I’m a short person. Under my shirt or over my shirt, I still end up with a bundle of cord slapping me on the midsection. Depending on the activity, I sometimes need a little more cord length, like when I have my arms raised over my head. I’m not mechanically oriented and would probably mess up trying to cut and splice the cord somehow.
I’m most intrigued by the cordless headphones that do not require bluetooth.
Well, it’s not hard to do. It’s like you’re not even trying.
Why do you hate America?
ETA: Bellwood1030, perhaps your rubber band wasn’t “Ergonomically Correct”.
OK, fine. Forgo the 5.8GHz digital phones.
Down the shirt works and then use a binder clip (these things are like the duct tape of the office world) to take up the excess length. Just wrap the excess cord around the handles, threading the last bit through the handle so it won’t come undone and then use the clip to attach it to the shirt at a convenient spot.
This is exactly what I do. I have one of those runner’s clip-on thingies which I clip onto the top of my shorts.
Oh that is them–or close to it. I thought they were Panasonic but I was wrong.
I got tired of the earbud wires getting caught on everything so I went with wireless earbuds. Sony makes some nice ones and they come with a bluetooth adapter if you don’t have one on your phone. It’s pretty easy to link up to your phone. here’s a tutorial How to Make Wireless Earbuds
