I’m not at all disgusted or repulsed by what straight people do, but I could never bring myself to have sex with a woman (especially cunnilingus; I just don’t get that at all). Even if whatever we were doing felt good physically, it would be just a total turn-off for me. But I do love broccoli. ---

If I close my eyes and imagine myself having straight sex, it’s kinda gross. But, having grown up in a world where it’s socially encouraged, the thought of straight sex in general doesn’t gross me out at all. If a straight female friend is sharing intimate details about her sex life - how her boyfriend has an eight inch tongue and can breath through his ears - doesn’t gross me out. I’m happy for her, and happy to hear the gory details. Geez, you can’t watch TV or movies without seeing innumerable straight love scenes. It’d be impossible to not be almost completely desensitized to it. If only straights could develop a thicker skin. ---

I don’t claim to speak for any lesbians but myself. The one thing I can say about human sexuality in general: If you look enough, you can probably find that just about everyone has a touch of bi. ---

I’m bi, so I don’t quite fit what the OP is looking for, but what the hell: I obviously don’t find straight sex repulsive in any way, but I find depictions of it in porn or whatnot really boring. Watching two guys have sex, great. Watching two girls have sex, super. Having been in situations where explicit sex acts were occurring, I offer the opinion that, unless you are in some way part of the action, it is a bit off putting. As to OTTO"S comment about gays flaunting their sexuality, in most cases I personally find it offense when anyone publicly flaunts their sexuality. The current trend of exposing as much flesh as possible is more of a turn off for me. Don’t misunderstand, I’m as much a connoisseur of pulchritude as the next guy, but I much prefer that my imagination be stimulated, rather than just my eyeballs. The brain is, after all, the largest sex organ in the human body. ---

Seems to me too much emphasis is being put on the “gross” factor from either side. It’s just an expression. I find seafood gross. Won’t eat it. I’m even a bit turned off when it’s served as part of a meal I am eating with others, though no-one is forcing me to partake and there is plenty of none swimming food for me to enjoy. A big ol’ lobster on someone’s plate will even turn me off my meal a bit. Food, like sex has to be appetizing. It’s either enticing (a turn on) or not. Not much middle ground. So while I’d never publically comment of someone’s meal preference (or sex preference), I certainly experience a turn-on/turn-off sort of emotion which is easy enough to express in a faceless annonymous environment like these boards. FWIW, I’m a hetero male who’s best friend of 20 years is gay. ---

Let’s see. I am gay. I worked as a clerk in an adult bookstore for four years. I have seen more acts of heterosexual sex than I care to remember. Do I find it offensive or disgusting? Nah. It’s all good. I just don’t want to participate. I love women. I really do. There are many that I find very attractive, just not in that way. ---

As others have noted, the answers vary by the individual. I know a gay guy, A Gold Card gay guy to use **Sampiro** ’s term above, who prefers straight porn to gay porn. It sparked a lively conversation at the party when that came up, too. Others like me find sex fun and exciting regardless of who is involved. Any porn or any sex no matter the gender or orientation of the participants can be either boring or exciting depending on how much fun they are having. ---

I think we have to differentiate hard-core genital sex from everything else. If I see a straight couple making out, or expressing any kind of love or non-x-rated intimacy, of course I can identify with that, though it wouldn’t turn me on. If I’m watching a movie in which a man and woman are naked and intimate, it doesn’t have any adverse effect on me, though I do tend to pay more attention to the man. I can totally appreciate a beautiful woman’s body esthetically, if not sexually, and have no problem with that. It’s only when I’m seeing hard-core genital hetero sex that my repulse-o-meter gets activated. The reason is that, as a man, I naturally identify with the man, and if I were in his place it would be a turn off for me to be having sex with a woman. If I can keep it on some sort of abstract, impersonal level, I have no problem with it. I’ve never seen hard-core lesbian sex, but I strongly suspect I wouldn’t enjoy it. And lord knows, I’ve surely seen plenty of male/male porn that I’d call “bland.” ---

I think that the male genitalia is really unattractive. The thought of having a penis inside of me kind of squicks me out. I’m a-okay with non-realistic dildos, but a real penis that can squirt stuff, that’s just gross. If there was a gagging smiley face, I’d be using it right now. I have no problem with people who are into having hetero-sex doing it though. There was a rather drunken evening last year when two of my straight friends started going at it on my couch while I was in the room. That offended me, but, under normal circumstances, I’m alright with straight sex, just so long as I’m not part of it. I will admit to it not making a lot of sense to me. I mean, come on, the parts don’t even match! 🙂 Oh, if you couldn’t tell or didn’t know, I’m a lesbian. ---
