# Do I buy a new car before or during the Trump administration?

Assuming Trump crashes the economy like everybody says, does the price of cars go up or down? I can’t quite figure it out, because a whole bunch of money gets removed from the buying power of the country as people are deported and jobs fall, but is there something I’m missing about why car prices would go up?
