I liked the no-bang look better on you. At least based on those three photos. But I have naturally fine, straight hair so I’m jealous of anyone who can acheive the tousled, just-out-of-bed look and still look good! I’ve had bangs most of my life (not currently; I recently got a short spikey cut) and managed them in-between visits to the stylist with DIY bang-trimming. Of course she’d always notice and fuss at me for screwing up her work. ---

I think you look great either way, honestly. (SF here) But I can relate to not keeping the hair out of the face thing. Looks like you and I have about the same kind of hair; I just can never grow my bangs OUT because I am so easily irritated by hair in my face, so…bangs all the time. I have always loved hairbands for keeping it off my face, though; found some truly awesome ones at Claire’s, of all places, and now I wear them all the time. Plus they look cute! The stiff ones work better for me than the cloth band types, as my head is just too damned big or something, and they’re never long enough. Barrettes just are never an option; no matter what they say, they never ever stay in. Boo-hoo for thick wavy hair. \>.\< Now combs…I used to love using them when I was younger but can never seem to find them nowadays. Maybe I should look harder, hrm… ---

I have really, REALLY thick hair so things like barrettes really don’t like to stay in. Headbands work for a while but then they give me a headache. So do sunglasses if I wear them too long. My head just doesn’t like to be squeezed, it seems. I may look for some fabric hair bands and try to see if those work… One thing I won’t do is I won’t put product in my hair to make it stay a certain way. It grosses me out having crunchy hair, and since I don’t wash it every day it gets yucky faster. ---

Oh, and I like the no-bangs look as presented, for the record. Edit: Looked again. Now I kind of like the picture with the bangs. See, this is why I just buzz my head with clippers, saves me from having to think too much about this. ---

I’m still deciding. I haven’t done anything yet. There is no rush. I did get a picture of me not waking up and not in the hospital though.
