# Do I have a serious memory problem?

Also…now be honest!

I’ve noticed a lot of people here are in their mid-twenties which counts for me too. How many of you have at some point dabbled in stuff you can’t find at the chemist?! I smoked a lot of pot and took a lot of anthetimines when I was younger. It would be interesting to see if we share that too.

Please be honest, just a yes or no would suffice.

It’s a relief to read all of this. I’m in my mid-50s and my memory is WAY worse than ever. I had no idea it starts in your 20s. I was going to suggest to the OP that he see a neurologist, not because his memory is bad but because of the very noticeable change, but I guess it’s just par for the course.

I realize this is a zombie thread but just wanna throw this out there – medications can mess with your memory. I take Wellbutrin XL; when I was on 300mg I was having memory lapses – really embarrassing ones. It also screwed with my speech.

Down to 150mg and my memory’s back to normal.
