Do I have to shred these leftover checks?

Take the old checks to your CU and ask them if they can put them into the shred bin. When you tell them why, they’ll probably be tickled pink to help you.

I like this idea. But I just went ahead and shredded them myself. I don’t mind being ridiculously lazy, but I guess there is a limit after all. Thanks, all, for the suggestions; I’ll keep them in mind if I ever need them again.

Could be. The slurry was a pale blue, though, because of the cards’ color.

You may as well shred them. Then again, taking care of shred bins is one of the duties I’ve picked up as my company has contracted, so that’s near and dear to my heart.

Yes, done. I had to empty my little shredder bin twice. It’s amazing to me how much more space things take up after their shredded.

This is exactly what we do - never a question or a problem. Though I’d like to actually see them go into a shredder, I have to trust them at some point.
