Another, one same thread. Monstro mischaracterizes other posters as claiming stats are dispositive in a certain situation. She also falsely claims that people saying that they (the stats) are “proof of guilt” Several posts have to be read in series to see what’s going on. # 918 (Her initial claim re: “dispositive”, in response to Lochdale, together with her “proof of guilt” mischaracterization) , then ## 934, 936, 939, 946.
Another one, from here: http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=194004&page=1&pp=50&highlight=monstro
where Linty Fresh calls Monstro on misrepresenting him several times:
Here’s yet another poster who is annoyed with Monstro’s mischaracterizetion habit:

If you are unable to read my posts for what they actually say, instead of what you wish to read into them, then stop participating in this thread.
Not once in this thread, or anywhere, have I ever said that white-on-black rape doesn’t exist. Have I?

Upon looking back, you are correct, Random. You weren’t ranting. I mistakenly thought the thread was a Pit thread and it was actually in GD. Apologies for the mistake and for taking so long to admit error.
So again, I’m sorry for getting your tone wrong.

Thank you. Not everybody is big enough to do this. I do appreciate it.
And I regret posting the above reply to Miller. I would not have done so if I had seen your apology first.
As I don’t intend to participate further in this thread (in light of your apology), and as my links are somewhat cumbersome, I will understand if people choose not to wade through them. In any event, I won’t be commenting further, even if others choose to do so.
I apologize for my tone in the first post I made here. I have some hot-button issues, and being wrongly accused of something significant (as racism obviously is), is one of those issues. Although you may not have intended such an accusation, that’s how I read what you wrote, and I reacted harshly.

It’s alright. One thing I’ve learned from this thread is that we all have baggage, and sometimes that baggage prejudices us unfairly.
I can be prejudiced just as much as anyone else. Since now I know how irritating it is to be mischaracterized, I’m going to try to be more fair in my judgements.
