# Do libraries have a laxative effect on everyone?

For me, being at work triggers my bladder.

I am at an age where prostate issues are a concern, so my doctors have checked. My issue seems to be psychosomatic. When I am doing something that holds my attention, I can hold it for many hours. But the moment I get bored, I get sudden overpowering urges to urinate, even though there is actually not much in my bladder.

It used to happen to me, every single time, as a child/teen in the old library in my hometown. It stopped when the library moved to a brand new building.  
As an adult, it no longer happens to me.
