Yeah it works. Those images need to be compressed for the web though. 487k & 100k small images are too big.

Nice page but all of your links are broken (at least for me).

Check the URL’s for your links. You need to put http:// in front of the www. or else the address is relative not absolute. I get not found for all of your links.

I can tell you why your images are so large… What you did, was take full-screen images, and resized them in the HTML. In this case, the browser downloads the full-size version, and then resizes them locally. What you want to do is resize them in your inage editing program, and then post the smaller versions produced that way. If you want, you can still keep the full-size versions, but make them a link, so a person can click on the small image to see the large one.

Er, sorry. Bearing in mind recent threads, that wasn’t intended as advertising! Their HTML validator isn’t as good as other free ones I’ve seen (there used to be one called **Websitegarage** , but the site wasn’t up last time I checked) but the image compressor is quite handy if you don’t have anything like JPEG Image Optimiser.

Compressing images can be done with a product called SmartSaver from Ulead. Free 15-day trial at [http://www.ulead.com](http://www.ulead.com)
You can also scale those images down to size with it. You’re running dimensionally large images in dimensionally small areas, according to your source. Try scaling them down to actual size–you’ll be amazed at how much bandwidth you’ll save.

you can reduce them easily using Microsoft’s PAINT, the program that comes with Windows. I did it for you and emailed them to you. Now I am expecting to hear from you about that date with a supermodel 🙂

I do have a problem…I hung that page when I had a Sympatico BC ISP account. I don’t have that account any longer.
