But yeah, he doesn’t act as a moderator or the variety of admin. who interacts with members a whole lot. ---

So, what does it take to be a member of the SDSAB? How does a mere poster (like MsRobyn) get selected to answer a question from the mailbag/e-mail? _reason for edit: wrong acronym_ ---

When I hit the magic number, I was chosen for the SDSAB. There’s really no mystery to that part of it. Robin ---

Send me an email: [ckdexthavn@aol.com](mailto:ckdexthavn@aol.com) and indicate areas of particular expertise or interest, and we’ll go from there. Please be sure that the subject line in the email is something clear – Even if these are your areas of expertise, I tend to delete emails with subjects like “You may have won…” or “Nubile young teens…” without reading. ---

Research in social psychology, initially done by Festinger and Carlsmith (1959) ([link](http://psychclassics.yorku.ca/Festinger/)), has shown that people who are paid _less_ for a crummy job will report enjoying it more. Further research has backed this up - you report getting more out of volunteering than you get from a meagre paycheck.
