# Do more convicts = less crime?

Books are perfectly valid cites, and around here, if you cite a book, there’s likely to be a couple of Dopers who will check it out of the library to follow up. Heck, there’s likely to be a few who have already read it and have a copy sitting on their desks already. Your dismissive attitude towards the rest of the board does nothing to endear you or your arguments to us.
