That’s probably because it comes out of a box and is therefore inferior cake mix. Nothing wrong with proper home-made cake mix though, and I am quite sure I’ve never poisoned anyone with the stuff that gets baked in my kitchen. None of it comes pre-packaged though!

zombie or no

eating cake batter is not good but it is so tempting. best solution is when you make a cake then also make a batch of cookies. eat the cookie dough instead.

If I bake a batch of cookies my adult children will eat them all in a day. If I run out of time and put the batter in the fridge, it takes them a week to eat all the batter. I’m _improving_ their health by letting them eat the batter.
