# Do old thread subscriptions affect board performance?

I noticed that I have 900 thread subscriptions, because I never delete them. Only three are for currently active threads. Does having all these subscriptions (and notifications) affect board performance in any way? If we all purged our obsolete subscriptions, would it help?

Dunno. Since most of them are inactive, I would think it probably doesn’t make much difference one way or the other, but if some of you would like to do some housecleaning and see if that picks things up, sure, let’s try it. Can’t hurt.
