Some online daters lie about age, height, weight, marital status, relationship status, what they truly are looking for vs what they can lure out to meet them.
Because I am a woman over 5’8" in my stocking feet ,(and I love to wear heels) I have mostly noticed the height lie first off. The first time I met a man I went on to date for a year, he had what I assumed to be his dad with him; this was his fraternal twin, so age/appearance can fool you. I’ve met several ‘divorced’ men who were’nt _quite_ divorced yet, just seperated or they were \*about \* to get divorced, as soon as they told their wives.
