Do people have auras?

Do you really think that would help?

Who is James Randi?

As far as auras corresponding to anything specific about a person, I guess one would have to have some idea how to interpret the colors within the aura. I don’t know how to do that.

The skeptical part of your question got me thinking…Now that I think about it, I’m in no way sure that what I am seeing is really an aura. I suppose that was just an assumption on my part.

I do tend to believe that there must be some sort of energy field, for lack of a better term, that surrounds each of us, though. I know I’m seeing something, I guess I shouldn’t have been so quick to label it an aura.

James Randi is a man who is offering one million dollars to anyone who can display, beyond the shadow of a doubt, in a controlled environment, “supernatural” powers

I have no problem accepting that you are seeing something. However, I think if you keep an open mind, you simply cannot jump to conclusions and state that that something corresponds to an actual external phenomenon. If there is an energy field, then we should be able to measure it.

Do you accept the distinct possibility that the “aura” you are seeing is a hallucination? Note that I mean absolutely no disrespect with the use of the word “hallucination”. I simply mean that the light you are seeing might be an internal phenomenon rather than an external one.
