A Professor of Astronomy will tell you that there are ‘leap year’ type days in the zodiac that add up to the zodiac shifting vs. the zodiac/date groupings we are used to. As they were first given ~2500 yrs ago the signs of zodiac have shifted as many as 2 enitre signs of the zodiac such that all the calendars are simply, scientifically and provably wrong. Now someone COULD reconstruct the zodiac and fix this, but i’ve never heard of it being done. Conversely, Christianity was proofed by the resurrection of Christ (to the believer). You believe it or you don’t. It can’t be proved or disproved in a lab and repeated to proof it for a journal, it is solely based on your belief in some if/then’s like: If you believe that God exists, then He is able to resurrect His human self outside of the constraints of the physics He created.
BUT ANYHOW, back to the OP… My basic opinion of any American is based on his/her willingness to take up his/her arms should the Nazi’s/Ruskies/King George lovers come to attack us. Now this isn’t likely, violence is not the first answer etc. I’m just saying that I am proud that the guys on Flight 93 counterattacked and died fighting. I’m proud of America for giving the Taliban a nonviolent alternative (although they pretty much deserved what they got even with out helping OBL) like turning over OBL. I’m proud of our kicking the living crap out of them once they failed to comply with our demand of them giving up a mass murderer. Now, in hindsight, we may have been able to do it better, but at least we did SOMETHING.
Continuing this rationale with regards to the UN, I am glad we have a forum for discussion where the Israeli’s can adamantly refuse to do X, Y, and Z while their delegate sits next to the delegates from Syria, Jordan etc. and they don’t get into a fist fight. To openly discuss, and adamantly disagree peacefully is a healthy thing. It DOES drive me nuts that Iran is/was on the UN human rights council, that the UN issues agreements on women’s rights (that it won’t enforce) and won’t enforce resolutions against the very dictators that are killing the women wholesale. My mom and wife assure me that there are a couple things they consider worse than death but generally speaking let’s assume that women need to be alive inorder to enjoy their human rights. At some point, in a practical way if the weak could stand up and kill their oppressors wiht guns/rocks etc. the dictators would fear them. But, the weak are, well, WEAK, and the dictator kills them for any reason worthy of his time to consider.

In the same document that we told the World that America believes all mankind are created equal we also told the World that we believe that when the Gov. is evil the people are bound by DUTY to counter it and destroy it if need be. (incidnetly the people NOT countering the gov. is the arguement we used to conscript the local german people to clean up the camps and to execute their leaders for not opposing Hitler.)
