If anyone’s interested, here’s a supply list from our local elementary school. I don’t think the older kids have such lists.

Damn, when I was in school they just asked us to bring in a box of kleenex or some extra paper towels for the classroom.

In my area, the high school students do. The two I bought supplies for were very similar to this minus the glue sticks and scissors and add a flash drive (I bought Star Wars zip drives).

We were told to bring a pencil, a big eraser, paste (except for those kids who had to use mucilage, hope none of you were one of those), and maybe a couple of other things. You weren’t allowed to bring you own scissors, you had to use the school supplied dull blunt scissors. We were also told to get a cigar box to keep them in. Those were getting rare and cigar box sized school boxes were being sold.
