Do the Saudis Control Fox? Implications?

If it needs to be explained, there’s a strong chance it’s bad satire. Satire needs to make sense, and Try2B Comprehensive “explanation” didn’t help. I get it: the Sharia ban was dumb, and some conservatives have a blind spot to the fact that NewsCorp is part owned by a Saudi prince. Once you attempt to think about the comparison in any kind of logical way, it falls apart. The voters of Oklahoma passed the Sharia thing. They can’t pass a law that does something similar to NewsCorp, and there’s not much in the way of evidence it has affected NewsCorp’s publications or programming other than some careful wording in the one story I mentioned.

I don’t care why we did it. When we’re fucking with another country’s information delivery system it’s no more or less wrong than when someone does it to us.

It’s not about passing a law. It is about what the rank-and-file Muslim-suspecting Fox-watching fellow thinks about all this.
