God zit popping is an awful habit for me. I just can’t hold back. Now I got those little memories dotted all over my face. I’ve read up things that claim will work.

Now, we do have vitamin E OIL here, but that would be stupid to use because it would cause more acne.
More Acne=more popping=more scars

Lemon juice seems to have a lot of support, but then someone makes a point…

Does lemon juice actually work?

I don’t know. Wasn’t it Marcia who tried it on the Brady Bunch? It didn’t work out for her. I work in a derm office, and as far as I know, laser resurfacing or deep chemical peel would be about your only true options.

Oh, as far as the acne goes, I would highly recommend seeing a dermatologist. Many people find good relief with oral antibiotics and/or topical medications. For really stubborn acne, there’s Accutane- which, for all it’s potentially scary side effects does often work very well- and there’s also a brand-new treatment using LED, aka Blue Light Treatments. We just started it at my office in July, and the literature says most people don’t notice improvement until 3-4 months after serious of 8 bi-weekly treatments, but alot of patients have told me they notice results during their treatments. This procedure claims and 80-100% improvement in mild to moderate acne.
The point is, there are lots of things you could be doing to help your acne- things that really do work. If there were effective home treatments for acne, we wouldn’t have so many patients.
