Alright, well, I’m an idiot. Against all odds, she just texted me back, so yay! Given my track record, I didn’t expect it, hence the questions in the OP. So all is well…for now 😉 Thanks all for putting up with my occasional pouts… ---

For what it’s worth now that she’s called, I was going to advise texting her. It’s a very low pressure means of communication, and has the benefit of naturally hiding any anxiety: “Busy Thursday? Feel like getting dinner or a drink (or both)?” ---
