This next is not a warm-up, by the way… but you guys are knocking the warm-ups out of the park, so here’s a tougher one. 🙂 A man was walking down a road when a stone lodged itself between his foot and his sandal. He leaned against a pole and, with his head down to watch, he shook his foot to dislodge the stone. Another man came along and tackled the first man, knocking him to the ground. How come? ---

Should the word pole be capitalized? If so, with the reference to the “first man” independant of the tackler, the solution should be obvious. Did the tackler believe he was defending the Pole? ---
