I have no idea what your OP is about, since you won’t tell anybody, so your best bet _in my opinion_ is to send a PM to the mods.

Precisely in order to **PREVENT** junior modding, I was happy to see that the Dope staff has made it very easy: when you click on “flag” on someone’s post, you are given an option to FIRST personal-message another Doper directly, to give them a chance to consider your suggestion, without anyone else ever being the wiser.
The only way anyone else would ever know – that is, the only way it would ever take on the _appearance_ of junior modding (through no fault of the message sender) – is if the message receiver decides to make it a public matter, such as by starting a thread like this one.
Isn’t it ironic? Yeah, I really do think.
But since it’s now a public matter…I had PM’d the two posters in that thread who were debating Biden’s mental acuity, kindly suggesting they start a new thread on that subject.

No, we do not have any new mods (as should be obvious by now).
If someone sends you a PM asking you, as one user to another, to start a new thread, that’s fine. If they instruct you to start a new thread as if they are acting as a moderator, that is junior modding or possibly impersonating staff, depending on how it is done.
If you ever receive a PM that is in any way inappropriate, you can flag the PM just as you can flag posts. We cannot see any PMs unless you flag them. You can also invite “Moderators” into the private discussion if you think that there is something in the discussion that we need to be aware of. Just add “Moderators” to the discussion like you would add any other user.
If anyone has any questions, please contact any of the moderators.
