Instead of a Sequel, I wish they would do the Prequel - called Maximus. The back story of Gladiator, how he became a General, his relationships with Marcus Arelius, Comedus, Lucilla. With Russell Crowe, that would be good. He has said he wouldn’t be in a Sequel, he’s like I’m dead, there’s no way. But, the Hollywood Machine and Powers that be will probably F it up. ---
