# Do whole threads disappear?

Do whole threads often disappear?  
I subscribed to a thread today and just recently I clicked a link from my email notification. It sent me to a page that said I could not access that thread. I went to my User CP and the thread did not even show up.  
Does this usually happen?

Sometimes threads get removed. Was it the spam that was just posted in MPSIMS?

Yes, it was spam. It wasn’t the OP that I wanted to read, it was the rest of the comments. 🙂

Yes, that thread was removed. We will usually remove spam threads, there’s no sense in giving out free advertising.
