I know men do. At least I’m sure I do. I was almost in tears when I heard Adam Corolla (of The Man Show) tell his joke about it. He was driving with his girlfriend and let one go. He started waving the smell from his ass to his nose with his hand and his girlfriend asked him what the hell he was doing. His response? _ **Jesus Christ woman, I can’t drive if I’ve got my head down between my legs can I?** _ That’s not the exact quote, but you get the idea. So what about it? Do women just lie about this in real life or do they really want to smell their farts too? ---

I said “_feel_ the need”. Obviously no one _needs_ to smell it. C’mon Bluemonchichi, you never smelled your own fart on purpose? My theory is that it’s instict. Like looking in the bowl before you flush. You want to make sure everything is copesetic right? ---

I think women like to smell their own farts just to reassure themselves that they don’t smell as bad as ours. This is not always the case… PHEW!! :eek: ---

No, women don’t need to smell their own farts. and No, our farts don’t stink.Ever. If there is a stench, you can bet there is a man standing close by who farted at the same time the woman did. Happy now ? ---

On purpose? Ewww, no, it’s bad enough when I get an accidental whiff. If it makes you feel any better, I do look in the toilet after I’ve taken a dump. I’m not sure what I’m looking for, but it seems a wise precaution to take. ---

Gatsby, I am a man and never purposely smelled my own fart. If anything I try to sit perfectly still so it might leak out slowly and noone will notice the smell. ---

LOL!!! Still LOL!! I don’t know why this is so funny, but it is. Maybe I am still 10 or maybe it is the sunk-stunk pun. As a woman, I never noticed if I try. I mean sometimes you just don’t have a choice about smelling it or not. I would prefer to smell my own over anyone elses though. ---

I don’t know if anyone smells their farts purposely to enjoy the smell or anything. If I let one go, I take a whiff to see if it’s bad enough that I need to leave before anyone realizes what’s happened, or if I can’t leave, I need to quickly think of a plausible diversion before the blame can be placed on me. When in the company of men however, I sniff just to know if everyone else needs a warning or not. ::big loud ripping fart:: Whoa!!! Damn, boys, heads up! That one’s gonna make your eyes water!!! I think Eddie Murphy put it best when he described it as a game for men. We like to see who can gross out the other one best.
