Is there any other way to cook? 🆒 Southeastern Michigan winter be damned. I grill chicken, fish, sausages, and veggies all year round, even when it’s single-digit temps outside. If the weber will light, that is…I’ve had some issues this year. ---

Well, yes and no. Up until last year, we used our propane BBQ grill year-round. But then I saw [this](http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodde.asp?SKU=315062) lil beauty. I don’t think we’ve used propane since. ---

I’ve also been taking the family out for winter picnics lately; week before last we had sausages and beans cooked over a little hexi stove in the wind and rain at the end of a remote beach - it was quite bracing. I nearly used up all my matches trying to light the damn thing though, so I got myself a very compact butane stove that is about four inches in diameter and fits inside the small pan of my lightweight cookset. ---

[/QUOTE] I like using my [Svea 123](http://www.packstoves.com/optimus%20pages/optimus%20svea%20stove.htm). It won’t fit in your cookset though, unless you have a [Sigg Tourist](http://www.packstoves.com/sigg%20tourist%20stove/sigg%20tourist%20stove.htm) cookset. (I asked about these from the linked site about a year ago, and they were not in stock yet. I have two original sets though.) I also have an [MSR Internationale](http://www.rei.com/online/store/ProductDisplay?storeId=8000&catalogId=40000008000&productId=47792735&parent_category_rn=4500454&vcat=REI_SSHP_CAMPING_TOC). It fits in my MSR cookset, but I still like my Svea. ---
