The winter boot fashion in Finland seems to be [furry](http://www.andiamo.fi/index.asp?id=95004FC1929C46B8A24DC3CC2AE9BD06) this year. All sorts of wonderfully furry and warm-and-soft-looking boots with cute little fur bobbles on them… Which are, of course, the most impractical winter shoe alternative known in the history of mankind if you live in Finland in the winter, when you either have two feet of snow or (for the most part) wet slush. _sigh_ I still want a pair. But just with fur at the very top. I’m really debating whether to buy a pair anyway or be sensible. ---
