Well, apparently my father went to the hospital earlier today in the fancy truck with the red and blue lights due to a head wound from falling down at a grocery store.

What did I miss?

Not a goddamned thing. He’s fine now, after texting him that I’m getting him a bicycle helmet with a chinstrap, and he replied with how good he is at cribbage, because of his head being bigger now.

Fine with me. There’s still those “Fallen and can’t get up” things, probably, and those Cricket phones, but in a medium-sized city, we managed fine to communicate.

And my younger sister managed to come by my place for a cry and a hug, all from the convenience of my chair at home.

And y’all stay off my lawn. Kids, I’m telling you.
