Do you chew your pudding?

Broader in fact than that. We also have black pudding, steak and kidney pudding, Yorkshire Pudding, pease pudding…

You’re eating the wrong kind of pudding!

I know excatly what you mean! I do the same thing and my husband used to give me weird looks. He’s used to that quirk now. I also “chew” smoothies and shakes.

I don’t chew well on any foods because of my jaw, but I do tend to bite ice cream from a cone.

I smoosh and swirl it around my mouth with my tongue.
I have to add that your user name qualifies this as a highly rated user name to thread title combo.
*Did you chew your cell phone before you swallowed it?

How do you “chew” pudding? Wouldn’t you just be clicking your teeth?

Then of course some of you also pull yer pudding…

This. I never noticed I chew these things until this thread.

I don’t, however, chew soup. More like drink it.

Sort of. It feels like I’m miming chewing or pretend eating. I feel like this dog who’s “air swimming”.

Mostly it’s like going through the motion while I mash the food around my mouth. My jaw goes up and down, but I’m mostly just pushing the pudding or applesauce around until my brain is satisfied that it is actually mooshy after all.
