And is a Carl’s Jr. a Type I or Type II if you order with a menu above the register, but sit down and have the food brought to you?
That depends. What sort of containers does the ketchup come in?

How much table service? Complete? Order-to-cleanup?
Yes. Complete.

And I think it’s well named as the Bluefront **Café**. To me it’s exactly that - a café - not a restaurant.

Personally, I would say a café is a _type_ of restaurant. All cafés are restaurants, but not all restaurants are cafés.

I think I’d call a food-serving establishment a restaurant if it has a permanent structure with a kitchen and has tables and chairs to sit and eat. Thus, street vendors != restaurant. Various sub-types of restaurants would include fast-food, cafés, buffets and “normal” restaurants with table service.
And possibly the late lamented Bonanza chain…
Perhaps it’s a different chain, but we still have [Bonanza restaurants](http://www.ponderosasteakhouses.com/splash.htm) around here. I’ve not been to one.
No shit! I thought Bonanza and Ponderosa chains died a long time ago. I loved going there when I was a kid.

Looking at the linked site, I see that they’re huge. Internationally they seem to have a big presence in the middle east. Odd.

There’s one in Saskatoon. Now I want to go to Saskatoon. That’s odd too.

You’re not from around here, are you? I detect a small accent.
