FWIW I am 60 and dance whenever I can. Slower than I used to be when I was winning disco contests but I still manage. ---

I’ve never been a good dancer, and never knew any dance that required partners or particular steps, but I’ve always enjoyed it and never minded looking foolish. Recently I went contra dancing for the first time, and really enjoyed it. And I’m going to be in a flash mob next week! Yesterday was the first rehearsal. This is the first time in my life I’ve tried to dance to choreography. It was hard, but fun. So, though I would never have thought to say it…yes, I dance. 🙂 ---

Sure I dance. I dance around the house, sometimes at work (usually accompanied by singing), and still hit a small club on occasion. I was a teen in the 80’s so my repertoire stems from about then forward. Without too much refreshing I can usually step into a waltz or a swing or a samba, each of which I’ve had casual lessons. Otherwise I’ll step into dance moves for whatever decade the music is playing. Yep, I’ve managed to pick up the [gangnam style,](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bZkp7q19f0) 'cause I’m a dork who can pick up the “latest” just by watching, usually, and it’s hilarious. A couple years ago I gave impromptu lessons on how to moonwalk to a couple kids at an Ace Hardware of all places. I don’t remember how it came up, but we were in the checkout line and I had to take my shoes off! ---

Seldom, very seldom, especially in public. If somehow I ended up on something like Dancing with the Stars or a similar “reality” show, I’d get bounced off the show for the way I walked onto the stage. I have no rhythm, no sense of movement, and no physical grace when it comes to dancing. And I wish I did, too. It looks like fun. ---

Always at weddings! I’ve never really been to an occasion with dancing that wasn’t a wedding, except a Halloween party last year and I danced all night. I don’t go “out dancing” though. Not my thing. ---

Yes. Dancing around in my apartment is one of my favorite things in the world (sorry, downstairs neighbor!), was on several competitive dance teams in school, and will still very occasionally go out dancing. I like to dance, but most club dancing is 25 year old boys trying to touch your ass, so I typically avoid that. I’ll go salsa dancing or something. Very, very fun stuff. ---

Yes. I’ve been dancing since I was about five, and have been on stage since I was 12. My SO doesn’t dance at all, unfortunately. ---

No, I don’t care whether I’m alone or in public, I have no inclination to dance. However I don’t mind slow some slow dancing if it leads to…things. ---

No. Just too self-conscious. I attended a number of weddings as a teenager (the newlyweds were typically friends of my older brother or sister). I didn’t mind the weddings or the reception dinners, despite being an awkward teenage boy who wasn’t much of a social butterfly - but I absolutely loathed the dancing after the dinner. Invariably I got dragged, against my will and despite my vigorous protestation, out onto the dance floor by some sadistic bridesmaid or by the bride herself. For some reason each of these women seemed to think that _she_ would be the one who would get me to enjoy dancing and absolutely refused to take no for an answer. I have a brain and pretty good physical coordination, so I have no doubt I could learn the steps to formal ballroom dancing if I took classes. But just as memorizing an instrumental solo didn’t make it even slightly enjoyable during a high school band concert, I have no reason to believe that knowing the steps to a dance would make dancing a pleasant experience; I would still be anxiously self-conscious. I wish I wasn’t, cuz a lot of times people look like they’re having a ton of fun. It just ain’t for me. ---

I dance Lindy Hop, both socially and lessons, two or three times a week. Occasionally more. Met my girlfriend doing it too. 'Tis awesome. ---

At 53 I’m a dancing fool. My gf is a _very_ talented dancer and she has helped me become better. I’m pretty comfortable swing dancing, zydeco, Cajun, and a few I don’t recall the names of. ETA: recently I’ve progressed to the point that she lets me lead!! ---

yes, but nothing formal. My husband and I enjoy dancing together and will do it in public when given the chance. Neither of us like clubbing so the chance doesn’t come up often. With slow dances we do our own dance that we sort of made up as we went along and have perfected in our years of dancing together. It’s not a waltz or a fox trot, or a two step. It’s just our dance. With up tempo music, we basically put on a show. My husband is a very silly man who loves to get people laughing. I had to either never dance with the man or go with it. I chose to go with it because it’s a lot more fun. We’ve been told that if we aren’t careful our dance to Kung Fu fighting is going to land us on You Tube one of these days. ---

Yes, although not a lot recently. I love to dance. Took bellydance classes for eight years, went out goth clubbing every couple of weeks. My many small children have put a stop to the clubbing, so now I dance at weddings and in the livingroom with my kids. I’d like to start dance classes again, but I think I’ll have to wait until the minions are older. ---

I hate dancing. I despise it. I gain absolutely no pleasure in moving my body parts to the rhythm of music. It is emotionally draining on me and I would rather sit and shove bamboo shoots under my fingernails than dance. ---
