I dance all over the house with our little boy, who is two. He has songs he loves, and it is _mandatory_ for everybody in the room to dance when they’re playing. In public I will only dance if it’s in a very big crowd of people I don’t know. A big crowd tends to limit movement and smooth over the lack of skill of the less talented, such as me. I would love to learn ballroom dancing. ---

Yes, Argentine tango and general dancing in discos. I’m usually one of the first ones on the floor, no matter how “cool” the place is and I’ve learnt to do it stone cold sober too. ---

I used to dance a lot, especially in college and in my single, carefree years afterward. Dancing got me laid on many occasions. I still like to dance but haven’t been in a dancy situation in years. Sometimes I’ll grab one of my daughters and try to get them to dance with me, but they try to get away. On the rare occasion that I do find myself at a wedding or some other place where dancing is taking place, I still have the same cutting edge dance moves from the 80’s. Although I can do the cowboy/gangnam style thing like a boss. ---

When I was in seventh grade the school thought it was a good idea to teach square dancing to the fresh faced boys and girls. The understated purpose was to mix the sexes in a wholesome way. I was sent back to the classroom with two other losers who couldn’t master the “moves”. So no I don’t dance but theoretically I would like to, with the right girl. ---

I’ve never danced in my life, and I intend to keep it that way! They say there’s a connection between your ability as a dancer and your ability in bed. Well, sex is embarrassing, awkward and clumsy enough for me. I’ve no need for further embarrassment. ---

Evidence to date suggests that what I might call dancing is generally viewed by everyone else as some sort of a seizure. On those rare occasions that I have imbibed sufficient amounts of alcohol, I will venture out to the dance floor and begin flailing arms and shaking hips. Attempts are quickly made to move me to a quiet area well away from other patrons, where I can be ministered to by trained bartenders. In short, it is not a pretty sight :eek: ---
