Most likely apocryphal, but supposedly the Ames, Iowa newspaper (Tribune?) used that line in an article about douching back in the late 70s. Probably not a phrase one sees in a family newspaper very often. ---

And some women wonder why men won’t go down on them. Vinegar vagina? Or extra-vinegar vagina? How about some malt vinegar to go with the fish and chips? Thanks Mom, for always telling me as a teen not to use those things when the commercials came on, during the “family dinner” while we were all watching _Hill Street Blues_. Good times. ---
