# Do you eat the skin of baked taters?

It was about 30 years ago that my sister worked there and I still don’t trust potato skins I didn’t scrub myself. Welcome back, BTW!

Wow, you all scrubbed the potatoes? When I worked at Applebee’s, we would run them through the Hobart… if they were washed at all.

No, I don’t eat at Applebee’s.

The skin is the _point_ of baked potatoes. For any other purposes, baking is a bad cooking choice.
