Straight male- I love going down on a woman, it’s a standard part of the repertoire. Back in the day my wife was a little squeamish about kissing me afterwards, but eventually she got to the point that once she had come, she would pull me up by my ears to make out with me. Straight female. Apparently “common knowledge” has lied to me. Or Dopers are just a strange breed. I’d honestly thought before reading this thread that I’d just been very lucky to encounter enthusiastic men. That said, I’m rather enthusiastic myself and would be very disappointed if a man didn’t at least _offer_ to reciprocate. ---

Love giving to my wife. She does not ask/insist enough. It’s good to feel wanted and talented. She doesn’t want much to do with my face when I come back up and that is definitely a turnoff. So therefore it doesn’t happen nearly as often as I’d like. Maybe I’m not as good ad I should be. I have a suspicion its her though. Particularly the no kissing after. ---

Straight male here and I _ **love** _ performing oral sex on a woman. I thought I might be in the minority, but judging by the poll and the comments it seems a lot of guys enjoy doing this too. Being one of the elderly Dopers [60 years old :eek:] I can remember discussing this with my friends _w a a a a a a y_ back when. Some said that the only way they’d ever do it, is if the woman had a bath or shower immediately before they would begin licking her. Since I vaguely knew what it smells like and the taste would be similar, I figured that would not be much of a problem. I absolutely love performing oral sex on a guy, and the few times I ventured to lady territory I very much enjoyed that too. 😃 However, I’m not crazy about receiving it. That’s just me and my need to be in submissive position though as oral to me is inherently submissive and I’m just not into that aspect of it. ---

My feelings have shifted a lot and I don’t know why. Used to be I loved receiving oral sex more than anything, way more than intercourse. Now I only sort of like it sometimes. (not a partner issue, partner is very good). Intercourse is my A number one favorite now. Used to be givng oral sex was a favor I performed because it was nice to do it if someone was doing it to you. But I really didn’t enjoy it. Then at some point I started really enjoying it. And now I’m kind of not that into anymore, but will do it to be nice. I can’t really explain the ebbs and flows. Like sometimes you’re into one flavor of ice cream and then you start craving more another flavor.
