I beg to differ \*\* Chavardz \*\* My wife who died some years back was to me as beautiful the day she died as the day I first met her, her beauty never faded ONE bit after many years. On the stupidity thing I also disagree, as we get older we become [mostly] wiser although I suppose you could argue that wisdom and stupidity do not go hand in hand. That last sentence doesn’t really look right but you get my drift, you aint stupid ---

I was joking spogga… some of the most beautiful women I know acquired their looks after time. Not everyone can age well, though. And as for stupid, I meant it in the sense of ignorance. No one can be blamed for being ignorant, but everyone is responsible for staying ignorant. ---

OK CHAVARDZ I follow you now, I wasn’t quite wide awake _yawn_ But really it isn’t a case of not aging well, it’s more to do with how you feel towards a person/partner/spouse although I will agree that some people [mostly women] seem to acquire a certain something the older they get. One of the most striking women I ever saw was a perfect stranger in a supermarket, she was about 40-45 and absolutely stunning, mens heads whipped around whenever she passed by them, quite a few women too. ---

🙂 I’m note wide awake either. I agree with you that emotional bonds can make someone seem gorgeous, I’ve experienced it first hand many times. However, I get the feeling the beauty that’s being discussed is mostly skin deep. By the way, kudos on your wife, I’m sorry she’s not with you anymore, but feeling she was beautiful until the end really seems special. I envy you. ---

In answer to the OP, a photo in the paper yesterday showed the Miss Teen Alaska and the Miss Alaska together. The article was all about how they ‘won’ 4-year scholarships to the university. Based on what…cup size? I’m sure the money would have been better spent on someone more in need. So I guess the answer is “no”. ---
