\*\* wendyrules \*\* The woman I referred to above was not just stunning, she had something which cannot be adequately described. The way she was dressed in a simple grey suit, the way she carried herself,walked, even picked up can of beans was a delight to see. Yes you are quite right, she was perfectly at ease with what she was. I could have followed that woman around all day. What makes it worse is that I have never seen her since and by Christ I’ve looked…everywhere!!! ---

I’ve noticed that there is a type of man who feels a need to “protect” and/or provide for his woman. As long as these guys are around, dumb, attractive girls will be just fine. ---

Whoo! WILHEMINA that is where you are most certainly wrong. ANY man worth his salt protects and provides for his woman, he doesn’t feel the need to do it, it comes with the package called marriage or relationship. Furthermore looks have nothing whatsoever to do with it, you love a person for what they are not for what they look like. ---

I have noticed though, that there is a type of man who cannot date or marry an independent woman because he doesn’t feel like he’s contributing unless he’s taking care of someone. I have an uncle like this. Unless he’s rescuing a damsel in distress, he feels worthless. But he’s not every guy. And I think any man worth his salt, these days, realizes that he doesn’t have to “protect and provide” for his woman. She can take care of herself and contribute equally to the partnership. But that’s my opinion. I’m an independent woman who doesn’t want a man who wants to take care of her, but just enjoys being with her. ---
