I bought the tickets for an PG film and then my friend and I slipped into the R rated film that we wanted to see in my early teens. Around 16, I learned they don’t care. ---

What kind of sociopath do you take me for? I don’t feel guilty bringing in snacks. I usually buy a soda to go with them. They don’t have what I like, and what they do have is on 850% mark-up. But seriously, I’m not consuming anything I haven’t paid for, so I don’t consider it to be stealing anything. I’ve even had them check my bag on the way in (probably some congressperson or foreign official watching a movie that day) and they didn’t say anything even though it was clearly loaded with candy. ---

What kind of sociopath do you take me for? You ever have moments where you start laughing and it just and builds and builds and tears are running down your face? This _got_ me! Yes, I’ve gone into another movie. More times than I can count. I remember a triple play crapfest of Friday the 13th Part III in 3D, Meatballs 2 and Zapped! that left me with a headache of 3D magnitude the next day. (And I can’t deny enjoying Zapped! and developing a mad crush on Felice Schachter). But I never do it if the first leaves me with a sense of fulfillment. ---

I’ve never done it (I don’t see a lot of movies in the theater) but it would [del]be[/del] have been extremely easy at my local theater. I’ve only ever seen them check tickets at the entrance to the whole complex, and during slow periods they don’t even bother with that. Edit: It recently became an AMC theater, which I guess only has assigned seats, so I don’t know how it works now. I haven’t been for several years. ---

Back in the '70s, I went to a double feature consisting of _ **A Man for All Seasons** _ and _ **The Lion in Winter** _. For reasons I won’t go into here (they were not of my own making), I had to spend several minutes in the lobby right in the middle of the second movie and missed some important scenes. I was so POed (I’d been looking forward to that night for a week), I went back to my seat and sat through the remainder of _ **Lion** _, all of \*\*\*Man \*\*\*again, and then \*\*\*Lion \*\*\*from start to finish. I didn’t get home until well after midnight. No way I could get away with that today (even if I wanted to). ---
