That to me says it’s a Big Fucking Deal, especially considering that — like I pointed out earlier — the best physical transformations we can do at present are still horribly limited. What I mean is that quite a few people can’t even concieve of the possibility that but for a quirk of fate they would have been born the opposite gender. And I’m talking about the whole divisive attitudes that are so commonly found in society, as if men and women are some sort of barely connected seperate species and not two complementary sides of the same coin. I have nothing but sympathy for people who feel they’re the wrong gender and who feel the need to undergo surgery to correct the problem. It must be terrible to feel like that. But you don’t need to go far to find threads on the subject and people who find the very thought of changing gender an abomination and an affront to nature. I just wish we were more relaxed about the whole subject. ---

I never stay perfectly still when I sleep. If I lay on my stomach, but shift my position slightly, it can put weight from my thigh on my genitals. I find this uncomfortable. Does that make sense? ---
