So if you are a heterosexual woman, do you find men who dress in women’s clothes a turn-on?
If you are a heterosexual man, do you find women that dress in men’s clothes a turn-on?

I’m gonna say “not really” though with some exceptions.
I’m a straight guy, for the record. I don’t care if a woman dresses up in guys clothes but it doesn’t really turn me on with one exception: if a woman is wearing one of my shirts (a bit too long for her) and panties and that’s it, then yea, I’m all over it. 'specially button-ups, dunno, but that’s how it’s gotta be 😛

Straight male—not at all. Although really convincing male-to-female transsexuals can be attractive, but then they would be women.

Straight female. It doesn’t turn me on, but it doesn’t turn me off either. For example, Scott Bakula dressed like a woman quite a few times in Quantum Leap - he was still cute (in a dorky adorable way). That particular example possibly doesn’t count, since he wasn’t going all out, but…

The women who dress in men’s/mannish clothes (that I see) are invariably fairly dykey looking women, who are dressing like they are about to rake some leaves or chop some wood so no… that doesn’t give me a chubby.

No, I don’t find it a turn on (for me, women dressing in men’s clothes). At least not inherently, there are certainly plenty of examples of women sexily dressed in men’s clothing. But for me that is usually in a way that emphasizes their feminity. If they were actually cross dressing and attempting to look male that would not work for me. Nothing wrong with it, I am just thoroughly straight and it does nothing for me.

Serious cross-dressing, trying to actually pass for the opposite gender, doesn’t do a thing for me. But there are certain masculine-inspired styles that definitely work. That 1940’s-ish, trench coat, long hair and fedora look (something like [this](http://us.imdb.com/media/rm3283392768/tt0346156)) is great, on the right woman.

Yeah, there’s a big difference in wearing clothes that can be associated in general form with the opposite gender and cross-dressing.

Gay male.
Many, many years ago, shortly after I came out, I was working in a department store, and had a huge crush on a gorgeous guy in another department. Long story short, he was also interested in me, and invited me home. We were in bed, making out, and I was extremely turned on. Then he said “I’ll be back in 5 minutes,” and left. When he returned he was in full drag . . . the makeup, the wig, everything. And he was intending to continue where we had left off. Well, I tried convincing myself this was the same gorgeous man as 5 minutes before, but all I wanted to do was run out, screaming. I think that’s pretty much what I did.
I can appreciate a great drag queen as entertainment, but no further.

There used to be a commercial where a woman was dressing in a man’s shirt and putting on some cologne and then he calls and asks her what she’s doing and she says: Oh, just thinking of you.

Female, straight, not particularly.
FTR, last week we (four hetero females) were looking at some videos on YouTube and one that came up was Mojinos Escocíos in drag. Please note that this is a handful of fortyish guys with bushy beards and the general shape and hairiness of black bears, coupled with all the savoir faire and elegance of a steamroller wrapped in barbed wire. Someone remarked that guys in drag look better when they don’t wear tits at all than when they overdo them, as tends to be the case. We agreed. I strongly doubt any of us would bed El Sevilla or any of his mates for all the gold and silver that ever came out of the Andes, but that’s an interesting pointer for you: if you’re a man in drag, don’t wear balloons.
We do like guys in kilts, it’s an unadvertised perk of working in Glasgow 😃

Straight female, and no, I wouldn’t find it the least bit attractive or appealing. If my husband (6’3", 250+ pounds) dressed as a woman, I would collapse into a heap of hysterical laughter.
