Heh. My husband’s family had one of those when he was a kid. His dad didn’t enjoy driving though so it mostly just rambled back and forth to work. ---

My mother was going to trade it in when I was a senior in HS (probably because I had beaten it to death doing off-road stuff). I actually had her talked into one of these new-fangled '65 Fords called a Mustang. They wouldn’t give her a decent trade-in on the Rambler, so she went and bought another goddamn Rambler. My hopes and dreams dashed once again. ---

Yes, I like to wander. I’ve been “gallavanting” for a week now. Spent the last few days 4 wheeling along the beach with my dog, and drone fishing in S Texas. Will stop in Aggieville to have dinner with someone, then out west to visit the Navajo res. Will be wandering (ahem; gallavanting) out to Utah and then Colorado for a while after that. “Galavanting” was what I planned to do in retirement, and I spent way too long dreaming about it in a cubicle. Making up for lost time now. September and October are planned out. Not sure about December yet. ---
