# Do you have a "7" on your palm?

One of my husbands’s coworkers seems to think that all humans have “the mark of God” on their palms. God must’ve known there wasn’t any use in putting his mark on me. Infact, I only have 3 marks on each palm, and they don’t intersect.

They’re all 6’s. 😃

I have Seven’s palms.
You should ask the coworker if romans have VII on their hands or does god only write using the Arabic number system? If he does use only the Arabic number system does that mean he doesn’t like the Chinese?

It’s okay, you’d only need to worry if your palm said [616](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=315326).
BTW, which palm is it that you’re supposed to have the seven on? Because on my left hand, depending upon what you count as lines, I’ve got anywhere between 4-7 lines, and on my right, I’ve got between 5-9 lines. None of them look like 7’s however (though one of them _does_ look like a devil’s tail).

My left palm says ‘M’, and my right looks like a well-designed railway junction. Any intersecting lines could, in the eye of the beholder, make a ‘7’ - the only requirement is that they don’t form a right angle.
Anybody got right angle palms? 😛

I found a seven on my left palm, with an “x” immediately beside it. I think it’s a prophecy of what my pants size will be after all the finals induced binge eating this week.

What significance is the number 7 to God? I would imagine that the number 18 would make a little more sense, since it is the numeric representaion of Chai or life.

He had a whole list of reasons why 7 was the God number, but I can’t remember a single one.

Three 7s (interconnected) on my right palm; a faintly discernible, nondescript X on my left one. The curvy bit at the top of my right palm is intersected by a line, but the curvy bit on my left palm stands alone. Common pattern, this?
