Andrew was very much like a frat boy: he left Jamaica in shambles, then relieved himself all over south Florida. Katrina, however, sounds like the name of a vengeful goddess: long white-blond hair and sharp features. Like someone C.S. Lewis might have created. And, like one of his vilainesses, she caused the most damage after her death. So do you have any mental pictures? ---

I have a friend named Katrina. There was this one video project we had to do in Spanish our senior year where she played an assassin and was disturbingly convincing. ---

Katrina is the alter-ego of the bus wife. When she’s feeling, uh shall we say particularly “needy”, it’s Katrina she becomes. So for me, Katrina is a tall, nicely built, olive skinned woman with curly dark hair, wearing a nice little nightshirt and nibbling on my ear. YMMV ---

But I have lovely brown hair. I’ve aways hated the Katrina=blond thing. And I’m not a villainess . . . just don’t piss me off! (OK - I know it’s terrible to make a joke about the worst disaster ever to hit the US, and one that destroyed the Gulf Coast, and many towns, including fabulous New Orleans. But I’ve heard my name approximately every 10-15 seconds for the last 10 days, associated with mucho horribleness, and a girl has to let off some steam somehow. Sorry for any offense. Really. I contributed to the Red Cross and everything. I’ll keep going with the apology if anyone needs it - just let me know.) ---

I like the vengeful goddess idea, though I’d give her black hair, and dress her up like a dominatrix. ---
