I have the fake wood sided microwave my parents bought in the late 70’s. When it says to cook from 3-4 minutes, you set it to 2:30. The garage fridge is 40+ years old but my treasures are my tools.
I’ve a Black and Decker drill from the 40’s that will rip you arm out of it’s socket from the torque. If you can lift it for long, it’s all steel.
The metal spinning shop I’m partners in has some wonderful stuff. Our 16 foot gap bed Cincinatti lathe is from the 19 aughts. A hundred years later and some of the worm gears are a little sloppy, but if you pay attention to the cuts I can still hold a few thou tolerance.
Oh I could go on and on, I love tool hunting.
