Straight female and over forty, I have never allowed anyone to take photograph of me that could not be shown below the headline of the Wall Street Journal. I have found this rule has spared me much potential humiliation. I don’t have much sympathy for people whose nude photographs do make it into the public world unless said photos were taken unwillingly or without their knowledge. Given what we know about digital media, how can anyone believe those things aren’t going to be found. ---

Selfies, as in self-portraits? No. I did pose nude for a photographer and an artist when I was younger and leaner. Photographs and charcoal drawings are out there somewhere. Wish I knew where. It’d be nice to see again what I looked like before time and joint pain did their damage. ---

Not often, but yeah I have some out there. Very few with my face in them, I wised up young. When I got a bit older, I did some webcam stuff on Skype. I don’t know what their retention policy is like, but I sincerely doubt there’s a record (and I’m engaged to the only guy I ever cammed with, so I’m not worried). But even if such a video WERE to get out, I have no reason to mind. I’m not rich, famous, or well-connected in my community. I’m also not particularly modest–we’re all naked under our clothes, after all. ---

I have a few on my computer, nothing explicit. Taken when my husband was deployed, for him. If they got out…whatever. I just don’t get too worked up about being seen naked. If you’ve seen me in clothes, you can probably guess what I look like naked. It’s just not a huge deal for me. ---

My gf used to send me explicitly naughty pics by cell phone but she stopped because the potential for accidental discovery/misdirection is too great, and I have lots of pics/videos of her anyway. ---

The pictures is a rare thing for me. I never allowed any strictly nude photos, just risque ones, and I only did one set of those. If they got out I wouldn’t be particularly embarrassed about it. I’ve done a few “draw me like one of your french girls” drawings of my husband, though. I’ve IMed more than I’ve texted, and it’s all pretty tame. Nothing someone would whisper as dirty talk. With the non-standard euphemisms my husband and I use to play coy I’m not sure what people would make of our conversations if they found them. I’ve only done things like this in serious relationships. Late 20’s. ---

Heck, I’ve been the subject of several works of art while skyclad.\* Some of the artists are/were in love with me, some thought I had that certain je ne sais quoi, I dunno. That I didn’t charge to be a model, and the rate is the same for nude, probably figures heavily in this scenario. I was a photography major myself, and can probably even dig up a non-silver process selfie somewhere. Though, I think all the ones that aren’t PG-13 are regular B+W. But if you want pics of a man who is more like Homer J. than Adonis, I got 'em. If you’re nice, I’ll post a pic of one of my wife’s works, instead. I don’t see a whit of any of my nude representations as fappable, unless you’re into some strange artistic merit fetish. If so, hers’ll do better than anyone else’s. \*Hey, it’s like winning a major award when you’re asked! ---

And I can see why an actor/model might have some out there. That’s a question that probably comes up all of the time for them. . . “Will you do a nude scene?” Or, “We need to assess what you look like naked (we might want to get a body double).” Or an actress asking others, agents, friends, to assess their nude appearance in a “what do I need to work on?” way. ---

A guy at work said some lady at a former job just picked up his cell phone and started browsing his pictures, then recoiled – and he was like, “If you don’t want to see photos of my junk, why would you just pick up my phone and start browsing.” That story made me feel free enough to admit – at various times, I may have pictures of my backne on my phone. So don’t browse mine unless you want to be grossed out. I suspect I may soon start hiking in the woods again, but I am very afraid of catching Lyme disease. So I may soon be photographing parts I can’t easily see for diagnostic purposes. I haven’t seen the selfies that made the headlines, could some of the poses be “Mom, does this look malignant to you?” ---

Not ‘laying about’ as in a pile of Polaroids I accidentally left on the coffee table in the living room (the Polaroids are safely squirreled away in a drawer) but yes, I have a bunch of me, a metric fuckton of my wife, and probably a couple hundred of the two of us in every variety of sexual entanglement. We frequently send each other dirty pictures during the day and we save them in an app on our phones specifically downloaded for that purpose, password protected. If they got out, I guess we’d be pretty embarrassed, at least of the ones with our faces in them, but they’re not in the cloud so there’s a pretty slim chance of that. But I really have no sympathy for people who keep those photos in the regular photo app on their phone- that’s not really safe enough for me. As soon as I get one from my wife, and she receives one from me, they get moved to the vault and deleted from the text history. Anyone can pick up my phone and swipe to their heart’s content through the regular photo app. ---

Not only do I have no nude pictures of myself, the only (non-ID card) picture I have of myself is a framed photograph of me as a small boy staring at some candles at my grandmother’s home. Something I inherited from my mother. ---

As I noted in the other thread on similar subject matter, I have sent many nude photos of myself to my wife, and she has sent many to me. One of our common pasttimes during the workday is one of us will text the other a picture of themselves, either just of a nude body part or something more explicit, some activity, you get the idea. Then the other one reciprocates in kind. It’s a nice little pick-me-up to be on a conference call, hear my phone _ding_, and see that mere seconds ago my wife was doing _that_. Alternatively, one of us will find a few minutes to rub one out in the bathroom and text the other a smiley face; the recipient has an hour to respond in kind. In college the woman I was FB’s with made a video of us (with the full-size camcorder on a tripod, on VHS), but she kept the tape. If it got out- whatever. It was 25 years ago, we both had killer bodies, and there would be nothing to be embarrassed about. ---
