I have piercings in my ears (standard), navel and tragus (the triangle bit of cartilage in the front of the ear). I also used to have a nose piercing but took that out because it was a distraction once I started working (my boss joked he could finally take me to meetings!). That’s it for me, I love what I have, no desire to get anything else pierced. ---

Left lobe has a 10 g plug and a 0 g plug. Right cartilage has two rings, maybe 14 g Right lobe had two 6 g eyelets put in recently, but one of them bled profusely so I yanked it. I’ll redo in about 6 weeks. Two piercings in one sitting was stressful. Both nipples pierced. Hurt L.A.M.F. Strike branded on my back. Life-sized handprint cut into my left hip. Made the nippple piercings seem like a stroll in the park. And, of course, several tattoos. ---

At the beginning of summer, the year I was 17, I got my navel pierced. I put in a kicky little ring with a little pink stone, and pranced around all summer in belly shirts and bikinis. Then one chilly day in early fall, I put on a woolen pullover. That night when I yanked it off, it would seem that the ring had snagged on the sweater, and they say they could hear the scream for miles around… Luckily, a belly button is a great place to get a big ass gross scar since, well, already being a scar and all, you don’t notice it so much.
