Dogs: Both dogs in general: Doglings Yoshi, boy, 7 years: Boo, Yoshi-boo, Boo-boo, Mister Boo, (the puppy class trainer called all the puppied Boo, and it stuck to him), Simpledog, Brotherdog Jasmine, girl, 5 years: Jaz, Jazzie, Spazzy Jazzy, Mina, Mina-me, SpazzyJazzyMinaMe, Princess Jasmine, Helperdog, Sisterdog Cats (all cats are 10 years old, plus or minus a month): Cats in General: The girls are collectively The Princesses. The boy is a late addition (long story, but four cats were not in the plans). Now they are as a group the Katnishes. Artour, boy, littermate to Patches: Cuddlekitty, Snuggleboy, Mister, Boycat, Sweet Boy, Brotherkitty Patches, girl, littermate to Artour: Patchie, Patchitude, Patichtudinous, Patchpatch, Sweet Girl, Sisterkitty Samrys, girl: Sammi, Sammisam, Little Miss One Fang (she had one fang removed), Fatgirl, Kittenish, Beautifur, Lovelyfur Charlie, girl: Cheeky Charlie, Grumpy Girl, Green-eyed Evil, Lovebump, Furshirt (she sticks to me at night like a shirt, you see), Purrbucket, Purrball ---

Man I have the lamest nickname for my dog. I just call her Dolly B, since B is the first letter of our last name. It is hilarious to me though that I started calling my niece HerName B. when she was born (many years after starting to call my Dolly B) to sort of put her in the same class as my dog (well, they’re cousins) and now EVERYBODY calls he HerName B. and they don’t realize it’s because I consider the dogs and the children to be of one group. ---

All cats: Stripe: male, Stripe-dillyicious, Mr. Stripedy-pants, My Big Tabby Boy (he’s big, but it’s all muscle). Tigger: male, Tig, Big Tig, Biggus Tiggus, His Royal Bigness (he’s just plain fat). Hope: female, Hope Sicola Fiona: female, Fionabear, Fiona Q. Bear (the Q stands for Qute–my ex-wife tagged Fiona with this middle initial/name, and it stuck) Shiloh: female, Shilohkitty, Meeper (she never meows; she just makes meep sounds). ---

Miranda, dog, f, “Mimi” (never called Miranda, that was really just for registration purposes) Ginny, dog, f, “dumbbell” (she isn’t, she’s actually quite intelligent. Unlike _some other dog_ that we have, btw…) Silly, cat, m, “_ **CAAAAAT!!!** _” (generally in exasperation at his latest antic, so all the emphases are right there) (OK, the last two are translations from Hebrew, not the actual phonetic nicknames.) ---

Our Cayanne (female, terror mix) is most of the time just ‘cayanne’ - sometimes will add ‘the pup’ to her name - sometimes it just ‘the dog’ - I call her numnuts when shes outside on a cold day (which is really odd considering shes a spayed female). ---

My cat Riley (male) is Buddy, Buddy-boy, Fuzzbutt, Fur-face, and sometimes Dumbass. Boyfriend’s cat France (female) is Boo-boo, Baby-girl, and Francy-Pants. Oh and, “Get down from there!” She’s a lot smaller than Riley and she can get into places he can’t, which drives Riley nuts. Of course France teases Riley with this skill.
